Increasing your youtube video  view count:

So your videos are not getting much views on youtube?
Don't worry it's fixable and doesn't take that much effort.  If you follow what I am about to tell you, I guarantee you will see a great increase in subcribers, views and comments on youtube channel. 

Providing relevant video titles and descriptions

I see this happen a lot, a good video is uploaded but due to the description it is hidden from view and lies somewhere beneath the surface, barely getting any views. When you are setting a title for your video make sure it is something appealing and exciting. Don't just write 'me swimming' include many words and exciting things so the video would correspond to more search results and appeal to others hence making them click. Think of a title that YOU as a youtube viewer would click relating to your genre of video.
'me swimming' can be turned into ' Backstroke  400m sydney olympic pool'. These little changes drastically improve the amount of people you would see clicking on your video.

So you set up a nice title, but thats not enough.  You must set a relevant semi - detailed description. Your titles words should be in your description at least once, this will place your video much higher in the search results, under relevant view (default view). Basically try to optimize your tags and description to be as closely matched to your title and video genre as possible. Obviously, the higher up your video is in the search results for a particular tag or keyword the more people will click on it, seeing as it is first in the list. 

Upload your video to more then one site

After you upload your video to youtube, don't stop there upload it to many other sites and community discussion panels under your specific genre. Some good video sites include;
vimeo
snotr
metacafe
and obviously in the descriptions of your videos for each site post a link to your youtube channel and or corresponding video. You can write something like ' for more ___ videos visit youtube.com/xxxxx

Use video responses

This is a very important step, especially if the genre of your video as a high view count. 
Besides posting your videos as responses to your other videos, make sure to post them as responses to other highly viewed videos in your genre of video.
For example - say your genre of video is a comedy video to do with stand up. Find a well viewed high rated on youtube under the tag of e.g 'comedy stand up' and post your video as a response to it. You will be surprised how many people will start viewing your videos. It's simple but very very effective. Obviously if a popular video on youtube has lets say 50 million views with an average of 10000 views per day. If your video is a response to that video, thats 10000 more people having the chance of clicking on your video. 

Post links to your youtube channel and/or video on discussion boards.

So, lets say the genre of your youtube channel or video is 'comedy stand up' find out online comedy websites, or discussion boards and offer up your channel in a post. Remember don't spam! this will just associate you with crappy and non proffessional material. Join a comedy messageboard, and from time to time you may be able to slip in the name of your youtube video in a post or make a new thread discussing something and mention the name of a funny video you found, you don't even need to say you made it. It's the view count that matters. 

Make a website dedicated to your youtube channel

This one may take more time, but having a website to go with your youtube channel, is a very legitimate addition. It demonstrates your professionalism and has the potential to reach a much greater audience and is obviously easier to link to. A great example of someone who does this is hotforwords.
She is youtubes no.1 guru and the most consistently watched channel. See what I did there, many of you will probably click on that website, the same can be applied to your youtube channel.

Make good quality videos

This is an obvious one, but make good quality videos.  No one is going to want to watch a 20 second clip of a video filmed with a vga camera pointed at your shoes.  

In conclusion I guarantee you will see an exponential increase in your youtube video view count with the above methods. It's common sense really.

Adsense highest paying keywords

A friend of mine recently told me of a website that generates the highest paying keywords for adsense. I thought I might aswell check this out.
Apparently, this is all a big hoax.
Here is a generated list of keywords that the website gave me. These are considered to be the highest paying keywords. However, as you can see there are many inconsistancies with what they are related to.

Sony Ericsson K800i Review

I received this phone as a gift after my original phone the Nokie 6280 broke due to an overexposure to water vapour.

My first impressions of the cell phone were that it was more of a 'camera' then an actual phone. I still stand by this. Unbeknownst to me it was jam packed with features.

Design

Sony Ericsson's K800i is a sophisticated looking, but somewhat bulky, candy-bar shaped mobile phone. Its velvety matte black case isn't prone to smudges or scratches but we did find the large 2-inch screen prone to fingerprints. The general weight is approximately 115g which is a tad above the average of 95g.
The TFT display is sharp and bright with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels (QVGA).
The K800i possess' 5 way directional joystick control and has to sleek buttons at the top of the phone that control the cycling of pictures and bring up all your recent pictures in a slideshow form when pressed. With 3.2 megapixel cyber shot camera, this was the highest resolution bearing camera phone of 2006 in Australia.

Features

While the flagship of its features are it's 3.2 megapixel camera with an xenon flash it also includes a plethora of camera options ranging from the best pic (which takes 9 consecutive photos) to the ability to upload an image directly to blogger.com without the aid of a pc.

- The K800i has an excellent Web browser installed, Access NetFront, which resizes pages to fit the smaller format of the screen.

- Business features include an e-mail client and multitasking -- you can browse the Web while speaking to someone.

- Stereo Bluetooth allows you to stream music wirelessly to any device that supports A2DP.

Performance

- Transfers to a Bluetooth equipped laptop averaged about 55KB/s. With photos generally between 500KB and 1MB, each one takes around 15 seconds to transfer.

- The menu system was a bit too sluggish at times.

I found that if you do not lock the phone, buttons are prone to being pressed while in your pocket. There have been numerous times where I would go to check the time, and see 10 messages on my screen all saying different things.

PROS

* 3.2-megapixel camera with proper flash
* Large, sharp 262K colour display
* Integrated RSS reader and Web browser
* Image stabilisation to assist shooting
* Wide array of easy-to-use multimedia features
* 64MB internal memory stores around 100 photos

CONS

* Menu navigation can be sluggish
* Overexposed photos in bright conditions
* Bulkier than previous model
* Photo blogging with Blogger.com only
* No bundled memory card

OVERALL

A superb phone with plenty of features and a user friendly design. Minor issues with the bulk however if you don't care for that sort of thing, this phone is for you. With a brilliant 3.2 megapixel camera with professional flash, the cyber shot makes taking pictures a breeze.

Sony Vegas - Blurred title effect

The outcome:

Open up vegas and a new video track. (right click the section under the time code > new video track)

Next highlight about 5 seconds on your video track > right click > insert generated media and select the sony text plug in, click add and click ok. This can be done with insert text media but for this tutorial we are just going to use a simpler pre rendered version.

Now what you are going to want to do is enter your desired text in the space provided and select the size, font etc. Exit out of that window to your original screen. Right click on your generated media which should now be present on your timeline and click on Media FX.

You are now going to want to select the plug in, for this we are going to be using the Radial Blur, you can experiment later on with other blurs etc, to get your desired effect. But for now go ahead and click on radial blur (it should be in the 2nd column at the bottom). Now just as before click on add and ok.

A box should have popped up now, this is where most of the actual titling happens. Select fixed radius and go to the first keyframe at the beginning of the keyframing timeline (if its not there then just click to the start and click on the little + at the bottom to right of the box)

Now shoot the strength bar all the way to 1.000 (full) for the first keyframe, you can play around with the direction which the blur comes on from the box to the left. After you've done that go to the end of the keyframing timeline and create a keyframe lower the strength to almost zero here and change the direction of the blur. Go to about 2 seconds place a keyframe, don't touch the strength (you can if you want, but for now don't) and change the direction of the blur.

Now exit, rewind it back and play it.
If you happy, render it.

You can then enter rotation, changing of texts, colors and a whole palette of effects.

Being a badass

We see them everywhere, walking around with their watches and their 'can do' attitudes. These people are badasses.
So one may ask, what does it really to become a badass? or what can I do to make myself more badass and more appealing to women and/or men.

What it takes to be a badass

1. The walk
Probably one of the most cruical steps in becoming a badass is the way you walk. The walk is the epitomy of yourself. It represents who you are, how you think, wether you are a strong physically and mentally and of course wether you are badass.

When walking make sure to twist your foot approximately 20 degrees outwards, so you are pretty much stepping side ways. Your hands should hang by your side, possibly coming in contact with the ends of your pockets.

2. Master your emotional state

In order to reek the benefits of a badass repertoire you must learn to keep your emotional state as monotonious as possible. This means no smiling in photos, no hard laughs. If you must laugh, let out a slight smile with an exhale. "Try to keep your mood somewhere between the cheery HR guy who springs into work beaming and happy day after day and the depressing, super-negative guy always throwing up roadblocks in front of everyone else’s ideas from the dark corner of every meeting. "
Be serious, progmatic and realistic.

3. Cursing helps

Throw out the f-bomb from time to time, not so much as to give people the impression that you are an ilterate drop out, but to add emphasis to the points you are trying to get across.

4. Disrespect your environment

Knock over bins, litter. Whatever it takes.
You need to show everyone, that you don't give a f@#% and the best way to do this is by making a slight yet noticeable mess around you. However, you must keep it cool and collected, if you are in an office throw your feet up on the desk. If you are in the park lay down with your legs outsretched on the bench, so that nobody else can sit down.

5. Play an instrument and play it well

Hopefully you had already played an instrument in your younger years, if not this is the time to learn. Females love guys who can play instruments and it drives guys crazy when they cannot. A banjo is regarded a 'sextrument' learn that.
